A Fuzzy Multi-Objective Optimization Model for Production and Consumption Management in Energy Micro Smart Grids

Authors

Abstract:

Electricity is one of the most important carriers of energy used in buildings. By introducing energy smart grids (SG) and energy micro smart grids (MSGs) alongside smart buildings, a good platform has been provided for optimal planning of electricity production and consumption. In this paper, an MSG consists of renewable resources, diesel generators and cell batteries in bidirectional connection with an SG is modeled, which is connected to a smart building including lighting, temperature and air conditioning loads on the consumer side. Fuzzy controllers have been used to implement intelligent building management systems as well as in MSG to manage power generation and sales with SG. The decision variables are fuzzy controller rules that optimized by an NSGAII multi-objective optimization algorithm with five different objective functions. The results show that the fuzzy controllers work better than the methods that directly use the power allocated to the building loads as the decision variable.

A fuzzy multi-objective model for a project management problem

In this research, the multi-objective project management decision problem with fuzzy goals and fuzzy constraints are considered. We constitute α-cut approach and two various fuzzy goal programming solution methods for solving the Multi-Objective Project Management (MOPM) decision problem under fuzzy environments. The Interactive fuzzy multi-objective linear programming (i-FMOLP) and Weighted Ad...

Fuzzy Adaptive Granulation Multi-Objective Multi-microgrid Energy Management

This paper develops an energy management approach for a multi-microgrid (MMG) taking into account multiple objectives involving plug-in electric vehicle (PEV), photovoltaic (PV) power, and a distribution static compensator (DSTATCOM) to improve power provision sharing. In the proposed approach, there is a pool of fuzzy microgrids granules that they compete with each other to prolong their lives...

Micro Energy Management of Distributed Generations Inside Smart Micro Grids

A campus based smart micro grid model that combined power and heat is presented. In this study, optimal scheduling of distributed generations inside these smart micro grids is determined based on demand forecasting, solar power forecasting and wind power forecasting by artificial neural network (ANN). The proposed model is then evaluated through economical efficiency, environment efficiency and...

A New Approach Applying Multi-objective Optimization using a Taguchi Fuzzy-based for Tourist Satisfaction Management

The paper describes the usage of the fuzzy Mamdani analysis and Taguchi method to optimize the tourism satisfaction in Thailand. The fuzzy reasoning system is applied to pursue the relationships among the options of a tour company in order to be used in Taguchi experiments as the responses. In this research, tourism satisfaction is carried out using L18 Taguchi orthogonal arrays on parameters s...
